The Esperanza Verde Reserve located on the Rio Frio between San Carlos, Nicaragua and Los Chiles, Costa Rica appears to be abandoned. I visited during March of 2018 and it looks deserted. Nice place to visit but do not plan to stay long without camping gear and food.
