Description
This wide and imposing beach is one of the least visited of the area, perhaps because of its remoteness, which makes it a tranquil and lonely spot.
The small town of El Ostional gives it a warm and popular ambiance. There's a small cooperative that offers entertainment activities such as fishing, diving, agritourism, horseback rides, among others.
Despite the fact that there are no hotels in the area, the cooperative offers lodging options. Some basic supplies can be bought in the town. In addition, there are some places where you can buy food, but the quality is limited.
Getting There
Private transportation:
You must get to San Juan del Sur in the first place. Before reaching the entrance of the town, you must turn left (the same you take to go to La Flor and El Remanso) and follow the signs.
Public transportation:
It is also possible to take a bus to El Ostional at the municipal market of San Juan del Sur.
