A total of 52 documentary news, made by members of the late Nicaraguan Institute of Cinema (INCINE), will be screened at Cinemateca Nacional, located in the old center of Managua, on June 5 and 6, at 7:00 pm. Marcio Vargas, director of this institution, explained that with this material the audience will observe important events of the history of Nicaragua, such as the triumph of the Sandinista Revolution, the agrarian reform, the elections of 1984, among others.

"Every piece has a Cuban aesthetics", said Vargas. That means that there is a similarity between the Nicaraguan production and the Cuban one concerning the structure, the way the image was treated and the propaganda towards the governments of those times. All the pieces have a length between 10 and 15 minutes and were screened, in the past, before each film presentation.

According to the director of the institution, the event is part of the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution and it will have a cost of C$30 each day.
