Rising corporate society seeks to recruit members among tour operators in the country.

On Tuesday, November 6th the official launch of the Latin American Alliance for Tourism (ALT) , a business entity that started six months ago, was held in Managua. During the press conference, the inclusion of San Juan del Sur in one of the routes of the yacht operator Seadream Yacht Club - an alliance member- was announced. This route will start working from December of this year.

Liliana Bojorge, founding partner of ALT, said the newly emerging alliance now has twenty members from countries such as Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala and the United States. With the announcement of Tuesday they expect to recruit partners in Nicaragua, and then expand to other countries in the region.

The alliance is looking to attract, as participating members, tour operators and travel agencies. In addition, it seeks to recruit members allies among tourism entrepreneurs and tourist sites. The offers, as explained, are varied as training services, organization of events, exhibitions and participation in international activities, management, marketing, among others.

Jessi Fundora, Seadream Yacht Club representative, said that on December 13 will be the first trip of its luxury tourist yachts in a new American circuit including San Juan del Sur between their ports of call, along with various ports from Costa Rica, which is the point of departure and return of that circuit.
