The moon will be seen larger and brighter on July 12th, August 10th and September 9th, if clouds don't get in the way.

The moon will appreciate in higher brightness and appear larger tha normal over Nicaraguan sky on this Saturday July 12 and the next dates: August 10 and September 9, when phenomenon known as "Supermoon " occurs, in which the full moon coincides with its greatest proximity to earth. This was announced by the Astronomical Observatory of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua.

The phenomenon might go unnoticed for any clueless, but lovers of celestial events will have the chance to appreciate the moon around a 14% greater and 30% larger than normal.

This phenomenon is not unusual, it occurs for every 13 months and 18 days according to a statement from the U.S. space agency, but it is not always noticed and the public is not aware.
