beautiful and remote. try the spanish ceviche! new paved road from chinandega makes the drive a breeze.
watch a beautiful sunrise from your balcony. not crowded at all during my 2 visits. feels like you are at the end of the world...but going 1st class!

i personally visit this place at leats 2 every year when i go to nicaragua and i gotta say is beutiful and peaceful i dont really recommend it if u have teenagers as myself got kinda bored my parents enjoyed it plenty though

I stayed in this hotel overnight, and at the time (Oct-06) there was a 30% discount. It is without a doubt one of the top destinations of Nicaragua, both in terms of luxury as well as in terms of service and hospitality. There's tennis, kayaking and other activities available, as well as horseback riding (for a surcharge). A great place to escape for a romantic getaway or a weekend break..!
