I stayed here a little over a year ago. I found the people very friendly. The hotel was clean inside and out. The food was good and the laundry service was very reasonable. The on demand shower head hot water could have been a little warmer, but it did the job.
I plan to stay there again during my next trip to Nicaragua in November. Hope to do more exploring of the countryside.

It would seem that San Rafael is a boring little town, but if you have an adventurous spirit, this is a place to visit. Lot's of great place to go to. Waterfalls, nature, rivers....great place to explore!!!
