Description
The surprisingly comfortable cabins of Eco-albergue Oropendola are located within the Montibelli Private Wildlife Reserve, offering an ambiance of nature and tranquility that only protected areas can provide. It is an excellent place for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful natural setting of the reserve.
The Montibelli reserve measures 160 hectares, most of it covered with tropical dry forest and providing shelter to many different animal species. Visitors can find all kinds of animals including mammals, lizards, and butterflies, but the reserve is mostly known for its large bird population, including 152 identified species. Natural history hikes are also offered.
Eco-albergue Oropendola also provides traditional and home-cooked meals to its visitors, making it possible to spend all the time at the reserve during one's stay. More information about the place can be found in this photo gallery.
