I was a lucky visitor with a group in February 2006. After traveling 3 hours from the airport through dry terrain, the lush mountains were beautiful. With views that extend over six or seven ridgelines, sunsets are gorgeous! Lots of wildlife-monkeys, butterflies, birds, flowering plants--added to the beauty. The staff took very good care of us and the food was plentiful, healthy and delicious. My favorite was the white pineapple--mmmm!

I have been going to Finca Esperanza Verde every 2 years since 1998, and I hope to keep making regular trips there. This place is a prize winning example of sustainable eco tourism and sustainable agriculture. You will be fed wonderful, healthy food. You will be treated like a guest, not a customer by the lovely people who host you. You will have some experiences and meet some people that that you will never forget.
