The owners of Jaguar Private Wildlife Reserve also offer a variety of nature and cultural tours within the department of Jinotega, in Northern Nicaragua.

Visitors will enjoy different ambiances with fresh weather, views of the Apanas Lake, the picturesque city of San Rafael del Norte and its beautiful mountains, in addition to the nature of El Jaguar.

The tour guides are experts when giving general information of the region, its culture and nature. Moreover, they are also specialized in birds and can provide tours in Spanish, English or French.

All the packages are designed for a group of up to four people, including lodging at El Jaguar Hotel. Details below:

Package No1-Nature and birds (4 days/3 nights):
Birdwatchting and Cloud Forest walks at El Jaguar Reserve, visits to the Nicaraguan Pine and Oak forest near San Rafael del Norte and the Apanas Lake shore. All included, except liquor. Price: US$295 per person.

Package Nº 2 – Nature and Culture (3 days/ 2 nights):
Nature, birds and peace at El Jaguar Reserve (includes a coffee tour), vsits to the town of San Rafael del Norte and Las Cureñas black pottery artisan coops. All included, except liquor. Price US$195 per person.

Package Nº 3 – Adventure (3 days/2 nights):
Hiking and nature tours at El Jaguar Reserve, visits to the mountains of San Rafael del Norte and the zipline in pine and oak forest. All inclusive, except liquor. Price: US$205 per person.

Package Nº 4 – Boat trip (3 days/ 2 nights):
Enjoy nature, birds and peace at El Jaguar Reserve and a boat trip to Apanás Lake (Birdwatching or Fishing trip). All inclusive, except liquor. Price: US$225 per person.
