Description
The trip to the Cosigüina Volcano begins at 6 AM. At the bus station, we will take the public transport to El Rosario. This journey takes about 4 hours.
El Rosario is a very small community where you will have the opportunity to lunch with one of the families. Later, the journey continues with a walk to the beach and the mangrove, where we will take the time to set the tents, go for a walk across area, take a swim and enjoy the environment.
At night, a local family will prepare dinner. Next morning the actual hike begins. It will take around 4 hours. After a 10 minute walk around the rim of the crater, we will put up the tents.
Next day we walk back along a different road to Potosi. Once there, you can go for a swim, relax on the beach or have a drink in one of the bars until the bus comes to bring us back to León.

-Bring water (6-8 Liters), headlight or torch, insect repellent, sunscreen, raincoat, dry clothes, swimsuit.
