León - Cerro Negro Volcano Boarding
Description
This tour is not for the faint hearted!
You will volcano board down the slopes of Cerro Negro, the youngest volcano in Central America (formed in 1850) as well as one of the most active ones- its last eruption dates from 1999. It is only about 712 meters above sea level, but the ascent is steep and tough. Upon arrival at the volcano, you will receive a short technical training from your experienced bilingual guide. Put on the protective equipment and get ready for the ride of your life!
The loose rocks, steep inclination, and heavy boards make the hike a challenge, though we do make frequent stops to inform you about the history of the volcano and point out features, such as the craters and lava fields. Before heading to the steeper and outer rim for the real point of descent, you can do a short test run inside the crater. After some final orientations you will then board all the way down to the base of Cerro Negro.

All online booked tours will be scheduled and organized after our confirmation. However, to guarantee the services you will be ask to pay online a first 10%, then a full payment of the remaining amount is required at least 48 hours before the tour day in any of our offices in Nicaragua.

Cancellation Policies
Cancellation without Penalty:
Cancellations made at with more than 1 month before the day of arrival will not incur any penalties.
Cancellation Penalties:
Cancellations made with less than 1 month before arrival day, the following percentages will be charged, besides the initial payment if the reservation is cancelled:
30 days - 8 days: 25 %
7 days - 48 hours: 50 %
Less than 48 hours or in case of no-use of the reserved service: 100%
