Description
CIMAC offers four different types of workshops in which you can learn how to make decorations and utensils from used products:
1. Plastic bags (3 sessions)
2. Paper mache (2 sessions)
3. Recycled paper (2 sessions)
4. Banana leaves (4 sessions)
Every session takes about two hours and costs C$30. Check the pictures to see examples of the products you learn to make. You get to keep those you make yourself during the workshop, but can also purchase them at the visitor's center.
Getting There
Getting to: Environmental center CIMAC
The center is located in the middle of a neighborhood in the southern part of León. The address is: South corner of Puente Harting 1 block Est, 1 block North. Many visitors have trouble finding CIMAC, so be sure to take a good look at the map (see also the pictures for).
