Description

Tail long, usually with racquet tips. Crown and sides of head black with blue forehead and superciliary; upperparts otherwise green; underparts mostly dull tawny, washed with olive on breast, with black spot on chest.

Habits and Behavior

Usually seen in pairs, resting quietly in the lower growth and not very conspicuous, often passed by unnoticed. Dustbathes regularly, and at dusk quite often sitting on little-traveled dirt roads.
