Habits and Behavior

An adaptable parakeet, found mostly in forest or woodland borders, and in partially or even mostly cleared areas. Regularly roosts in groves near houses and even in some towns. Quite noisy, with loud screeching calls, keerr, keerr, given especially in flight and at roosting sites.
