Much less numerous replacement of Green Parakeet. Soft-part colors similar. Pacific differs in being larger, and is entirely green (lacking the red). Closely related to the Green Parakeet, sometimes being considered conspecific, though treated as a full species in the 1983 AOU Check-list.
