Description
Thick bill as in other euphonias. Male very like male Thick-billed Euphonia but with smaller yellow patch on forecrown (extending back only to eye); like that species, has entirely yellow underparts. Female, however, is quite different; olive green above, grayish white below, with yellowish restricted to sides.

Similar to Thick-billed Euphonia, but less accomplished vocally.
