About 11,000 Green Turtles are killed each year in Nicaragua. This species can be seen when diving or snorkeling around the Corn Islands.
The turtles live all throughout the Nicaraguan Caribbean coast. They often breed in Costa Rica, up north, but they they live in front of the Nicaraguan coast.
