The Estelimar Science Park provides information about different topics in both written and visual aids.
The place provides a tour in which visitors can observe posters with scientific explanations. This tour lasts around one hour. One part of the park explains the topic sustainable agrarian production: ways of planting, risk elements, tools, and procedures. There are examples for vegetable production, animal breeding, and mecanic production. A second part presents a group of mechanic dinosaurs that help explain the functioning of a spring, pulley, and gear. Moreover, this part provides information of hydraulic and solar energy. Other sections in the park explicate topics including information technology and mathematics, among others.
The place also has an internet café and a learning center of computers, available for teachers and students free of charge. The guided tour with oral explanations through the park is open to the public and without any cost.
The park is located on the outskirts of the city of Esteli. While driving in the Panamerican highway, you should see the monument to the 100 years of the city and from there turn East and continue on the road that leads to Las Torres. After 11.5 Kilometers, you will see the entrance to the park (there are signs).
