Description

The Peruvian Peruvian film "Magallanes" is being presented. It is directed by Salvador del Solar and played by the Peruvian actress Magaly Solier and Mexican actor Damian Alcazar.

The film takes place during an afternoon, walking the streets of Lima, when the driver Harvey Magallanes picks up a passenger, which recognizes: Celina, a woman he met for more than 20 years in Ayacucho, when he was Army soldier of Peru and fought the Shining Path militants. In his personal quest for redemption, Magallanes will try to help Celina economically, who now works in a hair salon in Villa Maria del Triunfo. But she will not be willing to accept his help, due to a past secret that confronts them.

This II Peruvian Film Festival in Nicaragua, aims to promote the image of Peru through its film production, within the framework of cultural activities to be held on the occasion of the commemoration of the 195 anniversary of the National Independence.
