From October 8th to 14th of 2015, enjoy 9 screens for 108 movies from 18 different countries.
The Nicaraguan Association of Cinematography (ANCI) invites you to the 7th Edition of Sample of Ibero-American Cinema Nicaragua (MCIN) 2015 which will be launched today, October 7th, at 7pm in Galerías, with the projection of a movie called “Pelo Malo” (Bad Hair), by Mariana Rondón.
This initiative is an incredible opportunity for Nicaraguan as it will allow us to enjoy the presentation of 108 movies from 18 Ibero-American countries, for free, in three cities of the country: Managua, Granada y Bilwi, from October 8th to 14th.
This cine festival takes long, short and medium-length films of all genre to cinemas, auditorium, universities, parks, neighborhoods and squares, in order to reach the more people possible. Thanks to this approach, the MCIN will take movies to the following neighborhoods of Managua: Plazoleta Pedro Joaquín Chamorro, Cancha Batahola Sur, Plaza Los Cabros en Ciudad Sandino, with the Mobile Cine of the National Film Library, and also to Los Laureles Sur and Barrio Villa Vallarta, with CAPRI.
The organizing team explains that cinema is an important tool to sensitize and create social change because, by drawing societies o characters, it manages to connect different people and cultures and, at the end, all this succeeds in enriching our lives. For those reasons, the ANCI keeps working hard to be able to offer this event to us every year and, by this means, bring Ibero-Amercian cinema closer to the Nicaraguan public.
