International Tourism Fair to be held on June.

A large part of the Nicaraguan tourist offer will be exhibited to around 60 international wholesalers and general public during the International Tourism Fair (FENITUR). The fair will be held on June 9 and 10 at Olof Palme convention center, located in the old town of Managua.

On Friday, June 9, the fair will be a place of meeting between around a hundred of national tourism business (expositors) and the wholesalers coming from region including the United States, Central America and Europe, said Catalina Gordon, part of the organizing committee by the National Tourism Chamber (CANATUR). This day the event opens for accredited person, only.

On Saturday, June 10, the fair will be open for general public from 9 AM to 6 PM. Expositors will let know all visitors about the attractions and services they operate in several points of the country. That day, participating wholesalers will be in a Famtrip to 8 different regions, where they will visit the local attractions.

During this two days event will take place professional forums about topics like tourism marketing and modern tourism commerce systems. The goal is to strengthen the positioning of Nicaraguan turist offer worldwide, according to the official information about the fair published by organizers. These professional events are open for accredited participants.

FENITUR will be also attended by international specialized journalist coming from Italy, South America and Central America, among other places. They will also report about some Nicaraguan destination after the Famtrip with the wholesalers.

The fair is organized by private businesses members of CANATUR, and supported by provider businesses interested on tourism industry. Olof Palme convention center is situated to the East of National Assembly building, accessible from the Avenida Bolivar (Bolivar avenu)
