National Tourism Festival

According to the company AC Eventos, the organizer of the fair, the event's goal is to provide the Nicaraguan people with information about the national tourism possibilities, in order to plan the vacations.
Not only do tourism-related companies, organizations, and institutions set up stands during the event, but national artists like Carlos Mejía Godoy are also included in the program. There will be a concert of this Nicaraguan singer on Saturday March 17, starting at 6PM. Folkloric dance presentations and a show by singer/songwriter Perrosompopo will also take place.
Over 120 exhibitors are expected to participate this year, and the organizers expect that the number of visitors will top last year's results, when 8,000 people visited the fair. The inauguration will take place today at 4 PM, and the next days the event will start at 10 AM. The Galerías Santo Domingo shopping mall is located at kilometer 7 of the highway to Masaya.
ViaNica.com will be present at the National Tourism Fair 2007 as well.
