Inauguration “Salvador Castillo – Integral”

The pictorial exposition “Salvador Castillo – Integral” was inaugurated on Tuesday, May 6 in the Galería Códice, where it will be open till Wednesday, May 14. The exposition consists of a collection of different themes of oil on linen, painted by Castillo, who originates from and resides in Managua.

The exposition contains 30 art pieces from 2007 and 2008, and they reflect different themes of urban and rural landscapes, nudity, traditions and legends, religion, and natural death. All works are available for interested visitors and collectors.

The last individual exposition by the artist was held in Masaya in 2001. Salvador Castillo (1958) is known for the wide variety of themes he uses in his works, including landscapes of the biggest cities in the country; his works have been on exposition in Nicaragua, Central America, Germany, Colombia, Canada and Taiwan.
