A less iconic face of Italian cuisine will be offered in appetizers, main dishes and desserts during the first Italian Food Festival, which will take place at Holiday Inn Select hotel, situated in Managua, from July 13 to 17.

During the tasting lunch offered to the local media and Italian diplomats, José Solórzano, manager of the hotel, announced that Orietta Perrotta will be the special chef of this activity. "You will have Italian food but a little bit different, genuine and still famous around the world," she explained. The event aims to show a wide variety of dishes that are not as iconic as pastas.

The festival will begin at lunchtime on Monday, July 13, and will end at dinner on Friday 17. Lunchtime will be from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and dinners from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
