Second South Eastern Tourism Fair in Jinotepe

The central park of the city of Jinotepe will be the headquarters of the Second South Eastern Tourism Fair, which is organized annually by the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism (INTUR), on Saturday, March 26th and Sunday 27th. 160 expositors (tourism businessman, artisans, artists, and others) from the departments of Granada, Masaya, Carazo and Rivas will participate.

The activity will start at 10:00 pm approximately on Saturday morning. The expositors will be located inside stands, where they will inform atten dees about the different destinations of the area (volcanoes, natural reserves, colonial cities, farms and much more).

There will be family activities, traditional food sales, games for children, and even a canopy that will be situated in the site of the fair. Cultural performances, concerts and a party ambiance will be part of this activity, according to the organizers.

Visitors will have the chance to observe traditional dances like El Güegüense, Toro Huaco, Agüizotes and the Zompopo. In addition, the Nicaraguan Folkloric Ballet will also give performances during the fair.

INTUR's authorities expect between 20 and 25 thousand visitors. National and international media (Honduras, El Salvador) will also be present. This will be the second tourism fair of the year, which is organized for the promotion of local tourism destinations.
