Two days of national bands and Dj's concert, during the event of the Latin American artistic movement in Nicaragua.

The first date will be the electronic night; the second will be rock, pop, ska and hip hop bands. In this way will be distributed the event Grito Rock Nicaragua 2012, which will be held this Thursday March 29 and Friday March 30 at the Alianza Francesa in Managua. The event will be open to the public, with free entry. In total, 20 national bands and DJ's, including some new ones, will make sounds with their musical proposals on the scenario.

This is the second year of the event in Nicaragua. Born in Brazil in 2002, Grito Rock is an annual independent collective festival that has achieved big success, reaching more and more cities and participant countries. The purpose of the project is “to encourage and professionalize the music independent scene” - quote by the organizers description - through production, collaboration and cultural diffusion. Every city handles its events program and dates. This year, the festival will be held in 200 Latin American cities, and for the first time it came to Spain.

The Nicaraguan Grito Rock

Yesterday, Tuesday March 27, at the Centro Cultural de España en Nicaragua conference, the organizers gave details of this year presentation. Pierre Lister, Cräck creative producer, main organizer of the event in our country, pointed out that in the two-day concert 18 new bands and Dj's will be participating, including young artists and lots of fresh good music. They were chosen through a preliminary process involving 40 new proposals.

These new chosen artists will join other 8 who already have experience in the artistic field of the country, such as Revuelta Sonora, Momotombo, Malos Hábitos, Monroy & Surmenage, Q69K o Sala Bipolar. Also, the Mexican band Doble Circulación is participating. This is their third visit to the country with a recent material which they are promoting; two members of this band are Nicaraguan: “It is a pleasure to be part of this event”, said the Nicaraguan lead singer Donaldo Sevilla.

The national musician Guillermo Norory, artistically known as Momotombo, indicated that the name of the event does not enclose rock, instead it is born from an attitude matter. The objective is to search for new proposals, inspire people who have something to show, he said. "The festival is the perfect excuse for the new bands to be heard ... we (the national artists) must present what is ours” he declared.

Chema Kings, Cräck producer leader, mentioned that the event will be broadcast live, online, through streaming of the official website. This web site, he said, indicated last year that the event in Nicaragua had been the best made in Central America. For the next year, Reyes said, we expect to be able to expand the Grito Rock to the cities of Granada, Masaya and Leon.

The event is, then, at the [http://vianica.com/schools/2/alianza-francesa Alianza Francesa Managua) courtyard, tomorrow Thursday March 29 and Friday March 30. Admission is free, and is requested to attend from 7:30 PM.
