Beta settles down

After surprising the experts by taking another route, Beta left Puerto Cabezas relatively quietly and penetrated Nicaragua through the central regions during Sunday morning. Beta was downgraded and is currently classified as a weak tropical storm which might fall apart during this day (Monday, October 31st), according to the meteorologists.The phenomenon has caused rainfall throughout the country and the government is monitoring the water level of rivers which might affect communities living around riverbanks. Possible landslides are also monitored, as they might cause harm to people living on the slopes of hills. At this moment of writing, no deaths have been officially reported.
