Power cuts in Nicaragua continue

Rationing of electricity will continue throughout Nicaragua. Power cuts of two or more hours per day will continue to take place in the whole country. The inconvenient power cuts started at the end of July as a result of the drop in the generation of electricity at the national power plants.Although the distributing company, Unión Fenosa, and the public authorities related to this field assure that this crisis is about to end, there is no date mentioned when these power cuts that affect households, businesses, tourism companies, institutional buildings and all other places where electricity is needed, will end.
