Nicaraguan and European Christmas songs in a free travelling concert that will visit 9 cities in the country.
For the last 18 years, on the month of December the free concert ‘’Coros y Aires Navideños Alemanes-Nicaragüenses’’ has been taking place in our country. These concerts celebrates Christmas with carols and European and Nicaraguan ‘’pastorelas’’; this year was intended to reach beyond the usual. Led by La Camerata Bach and supported by the German Embassy and the Nicaraguan Cultural Forum, the concerts begin tomorrow and will end on 22 December.
According to Ramon Rodriguez, director of La Camerata Bach, this time they will take the show to cities like Masaya, Jinotepe, Jinotega, Juigalpa, Masatepe, Chinandega, León and Managua, each activity will take place at strategic points for greater uptake of public. "This concert has no economic purpose, but a cultural alliance between Nicaragua and Europe," he added.
Cairo Amador, representing the Nicaraguan Cultural Fund, pointed out the value of the initiative to be one of the first things that comes out of the limits of Managua, that’s why he invites the public to enjoy this event, which will have the participation of La Camerata Bach, Arpeggios Choir, Youth Orchestra "Ruben Dario", the Children's Choir, the singer-songwriter Carlos Mejia Godoy and Elisa Picado.

December 15th: Masatepe – San Juan de Dios Church
December 17th: Leon – Cathedral.
December 18th: Chinandega –Santa Ana Church
December 19th: Matagalpa – Cathedral.
December 20th: Managua – Metropolitan Cathedral
December 22nd: Juigalpa – Cathedral
