Mexican Gastronomic week in Managua

Former chef of the artist 'Cantinflas' will present a wide menu from May 19th to 24th.
Princess Hotel offers a week of tasting Mexican food with various flavors and typical dishes. Sergio Canudas was born in Mazatlán and has 48 years working as a chef. In addition to the hotel management and the support of the Mexican embassy, the Mexican gastronomic week was created to present different preparations of meet, seafood, chicken, salads and desserts.
María Jesús Rivera, Sales and Marketing Director of Hilton Princess Managua, assured to ViaNica.com that the idea emerged from the success of the last gastronomic week (Peru), also held at the hotel. Is expected to present a different estate per day. Chef Sergio considers this invitation as an opportunity for every person to explore Mexico through its gastronomy. Canudas is also a distinguished microsculpture - painting artist and cooked for the famous actor Mario Moreno 'Cantinflas'. Guests can enjoy the small art exposition.
Media were invited to a tasting session on Monday, May 22 at the hotel's restaurant, Garden Court. Among the prepared dishes were delicious entrances such as garlic cream, mushrooms and green beans salad, main courses like fish a la Sinaloa (ceviche preparation and Cantinflas favorite dish), beef with chile ancho salse and marita, as well as exquisite desserts.
The lunch buffet is available for US$22 per person plus taxes. Guests can order a second dish for half a price using a Banpro card.
