In the last week of October 2009, I was vacacioning in the city of Masaya. Normaly I visit Masaya twice ayear and I have been in almost all the hotels in the city, but this time, the hotel of my choice was the Hotel Cailagua. I will go back to this hotel for many reasons: big rooms, rooms with private bathrooms and hot water, I can park my car right on front of my room, the hotel is on the road to other major cities, and the main market is only a few minutes away from the hotel. I recomend it, especialy because the mersonel is very kind.

To all those friends that visit the city of Masaya in Nicaragua. If you need a Hotel, Just choose the Hotel Cailagua in the road to Granada, just in front of the metalic industry call La INCA. I was in that Hotel during nine days from 10-24-20009 to 10-31-2009, and I felt realy confortable. The personnel in this hotel is realy sweat and the service issuppervised by the owner of the hotel. Lic. Argentina S de Lopez. The rooms in this hotel are big, if you are driving, your car will be right in front of your room, and the main market is near by. I have been in all the Masaya hotels and por me Hotel Cailagua is the best. Go ahead and visiti this hotel. You will like, I guarantee it.

Disappointed:
I just came back from Nicaragua and stayed at Cailagua. The rooms are good for large groups, AC, Cable with a private bathroom and private parking. However, the hotel required cleaning. Bed Sheets were worned out old and didn't smell fresh, the table cloths in the eating area had stains and we saw nasty roaches in the rooms. The price is very cheap though. This place is close to the Masaya Markets. I would not go back there again no matter how accomodating the price is... to me cleanliness is a must!
