Few hotels offer such a private and exclusive setting as El Roble. This hotel is located on a private islet in Lake Nicaragua. Located within 10 minutes from the port of Asese, El Roble offers spacious, comfortable rooms and the perfect surroundings for a relaxing getaway on a beautiful islet. The ecolodge respects the natural surroundings by using solar energy.

El Roble can lodge up to 12 people, but whenever a reservation is made the guests will have the islet for themselves, even if the group consists of only two people. All rooms are equipped with bathroom and the island also has a pool available.

The view from the hotel is stunning: guests can look out over Lake Nicaragua and see the other islets as well as the large Zapatera Island on the background and even the Concepción Volcano of Ometepe. The impressive Mombacho Volcano is set right in front of the island, proving another superb view.

In addition to relaxing atmosphere, guests can also undertake many activities from here. Kayaks are available free of charge so the area around the islet can be easily explored. Fishing rods can be rented, and fishing trips can also be organized. Other tours, such as an artisanal fishing trip, a tour around the islets, the Mombacho Volcano and the adventurous journey to the Zapatera Island can be arranged from here.

A living room with kitchen is available for guests, who are free to prepare their own meals. A fridge is also available. The hotel can also serve all three meals for an additional cost.

There are three lodging options:

• One, two and three night stays. (To know the prices for 2 and 3 nights, contact directly with the hotel)
• Several days, which allows guests to get discounts (3 day/2 nights package)
• Daily visits

Please note that transportation back and forth from the Asese port is included in the prices. The hotel only receives tourists through reservations by e-mail. Therefore, it is vital to arrange your stay in advance, specially during high season.
