Casa Silas Bed & Breakfast is located in the market area of Granada. During the day, the area is a thriving cultural, commercial community, only three blocks from the city center. During the evening, the area is blessed with silence and starry nights. Restful sleep at Casa Silas Bed & Breakfast is assured. Tour planning assistance, in-house Spanish classes, and the “wit" and “wisdom" of Claudia and Rob are just a few of the reasons visitors love the introduction to Nicaragua offered here, and many frequently return.
Awaken to the sound of the parrots in the avocado trees nearby, then swim in the pool just outside of the room or enjoy the morning paper at the patio with a fresh Nicaraguan coffee brewing only steps away in the kitchen, where full breakfasts are prepared each morning.
Casa Silas offers a perfect place for a pleasant stay with personal attention and a wide range of amenities. High speed cable, wireless internet is available, and our traditional library is well-versed in Nicaraguan history and literature, awaiting your discovery.

On the day of my arrival, Rob and Silas welcomed me with their friendly smiles and made me feel right at home in their beautiful house. Gorgeous pool and cool paintings done by Rob himself! Breakfast in the AM was tasty and filling with local jams, fruit and coffee.
Rob went above and beyond, showing me around Granada and some of his favorite places to grab a taco, platano con queso and a cold cerveza! The next day, we took a nice stroll to the lake and had lunch. The following day a friend joined us and we all ventured on the bus to Laguna de Apoyo and San Juan de Oriente! A superb day!
We couldn't have asked for a better companion to accompany us while exploring Granada. Rob was more than a host, he became a friend to us. I highly recommend staying at Casa Silas for more than just the beautiful house, you will have a gracious host as well! You will leave Granada already planning your next visit!
