Jack Robertson: I stayed at the Hotel America twice - in 2001 and 2004. I spent a week each visit. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. They really care about their guests. I am planning to visit Nicaragua next year and will definitely stay at the Hotel America again.

J Cordoba: I stayed at this hotel for a few days in 2013 and loved it. It is an original colonial home turned bed and breakfast. No frills here though it has all the basics. All of this in addition to the central location and friendliness of the owners created a genuine old-time charm that I won't soon forget. Oh and the price was excellent.

Vanja : I stayed at hotel las americas in 1969. My husband was a geologist with Nicaraguan geologists. We enjoyed the beautiful town and cathedral bells. Did the earthquake affect your hotel as it is one floor it seems and we stayed on 2nd floor. We wish to return some day soon.
Felicidades, Vanja

Carmyn : As a Nicaraguan and born in Leon, I LOVE hotel America. It's been an icon in Leon since way back. The family who owns the hotel is wonderful and very sweet and friendly, they give you a lot of privacy and are not invasive at all. This hotel is full of history, it's where all the baseball players, american player stayed during the baseball season. I refuse to stay anywhere else, period.
