Hostal El Carrizo is a family-run hostel located in the main street –and very close from the main entrance-- of La Garnacha community, in Tisey natutal reserve’s mountains. It is a good base from where to explore the community and the reserve tourism attractions, which include viewpoint with impressive panoramic views, lagoons, La Estanzuela waterfall, local farms, pine and oak forests, and El Jalacate sculpted rocks site.

El Carrizo has two rustic cabins with a full bed. These are build in a second floor, in harmony with two dense trees that are part of cabin’s balcony architecture. Blankets and quilt are available to comfortably enjoy the local, delicious cool climate. Rates include a traditional breakfast usually served in the alfresco wooden hall placed between the cabins. Both balconies and hall have view over the main street and the neighboring properties, which allow to appreciate part of the day to day life in the community.

The bathroom is shared, and located around 5 meters from the cabins. There you can find a shower, and separated toilets for men and women.

The property has private parking area, and a farm atmosphere with gardens and stockyards. You will surely have an encounter with chickens, goose or pigs owned by Rocha family, who manage the hostel and also the Finca Organiza El Carrizo (organic farm), where a lagoon is located.

Note: Hostal El Carrizo has currently dorm rooms and closest bath room under constructions at the hostel.
