Description

Cabaña Los Pozos invites you to have a unique experience in a rural farm of 176.25 acres located in El Viejo, department of Chinandega. It offers a natural environment within the buffer area of the Volcán Cosigüina Nature Reserve, as well as the possibility to get closer to the farm life staying at the cabins, enjoying tasteful food and sharing with a Nicaraguan family that will make you feel at home.

Rooms are distributed in singles, matrimonials, triples and family rooms inside a big rustic house. Guests can choose between rooms with A/C or fans, and some furnitures to place personal items.

At the farm and its woods, visitors will find numerous fruit trees like jocote, guava, coconut, mango and almond, as well as animals such as: squirrels, domestic birds, horses, cows, parrots, chocoyos, deers, blue-tailed magpie, pijul, güis and some migratory birds during winter like ducks, piches and great egrets. With a little bit more of budget, visitors can milk cows or go horseback riding.

Guests can also obtain tourist information about Nicaragua besides geological information for its proximity to the Cosigüina Volcano. If you are interested in visit the volcano, the Pozo family can help you with the tour arrangements to near attractions, beaches, hot springs or one of the estuaries: Estero Real or Padre Ramos. Also, tours to the Fonseca Gulf and its islets are offered. At the farm, guests can hire private transport service.
