Only 1 hour from the International Airport in Managua, Los Cardones Surf Ecolodge offers a completely ecologic, comfortable, cozy and beach front lodging, perfect for practice surf throughout the year. The lodge is a great place to be in harmony with nature, people and oneself.

It has 8 rooms built with bricks and palms. Each one is equipped with shower, sinks, mosquito nets and safety deposit box. The lodge does not have electric energy. Rooms prices include accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner and non alcoholic beverages all day long. Please, check the children special's rate below.

The restaurant promotes a healthy nutrition. The menu is diverse and the house specialty is red snapper fillet with Mediterranean sauce, however, guests can choose between dishes with national or international ingredients, such as pizza, salads and cakes. There are other options available for vegetarians, vegans and lactose and gluten free food. The restaurant is fully equipped and available for events.

During the day, guests can rent surf boards as well as bikes or horses to travel around the beach. Clients can also take yoga lessons, have a massage or ask for an artisan fishing tour. Other activities options are: slackline, volleyball, basketball, football or ping pong. If the guest is interested in to know other places of Nicaragua, the lodge can organize a day tour to the cities of Masaya and Granada.

Guests can also be part of project, according to their capacities, to contribute with the community development. A library and a community center have already been built. As well, a way to help is giving lessons in the school of the community. Other developed project is the preservation of sea turtles in a shelter. According to the season, the client can observe and participate in the spawn or liberation of little turtles.

Special rate for children:

• Free all inclusive stay for children up to 3 years old (you should indicate during your reservation).
• All inlcusive fee for 4-11 years old children: US$25.
• All inlusive fee for 12-17 years old children: US435.
• This rates are equally for cabin or bungalow, for children sharing their stay with adults paying the regular rate.
• All inclusive: accomodation, food, drinks.

Other extra service is the private transport to arrive to the lodge or move around the area. If you prefer to travel in a public transport, you can take the bus at the Israel market in Managua that goes to San Cayetano. The price is C$30 approx. The stop will be at California. From here you can take a mototaxi to Los Cardones for C$200. Mototaxis have capacity for 3 people maximum.
