Recomiendo este precioso y hermoso territorio lleno de Paz, Tranquilidad y un clima puro y fresco!

Mi primera vez visitando este paraiso un Rincon en Matagalpa, Nicaragua y se que no sera la primera vez!

Lo difrute por el bello lugar un paraiso y mi preparacion mental y familia que con solo el lugar lo pasariamos bien.Y lo difrutamos

No se puede permitir que lo lindo del sitio. Se vea el usuario decepcionado por falta de inversión mínima.
Almohadas.
cedazos en ventanas
luz eléctrica falto todo un día
Limpieza de cabañas manejo técnico de desechos
Moscas en abundancia en todos los sitios Hay insecticida orgánicos
Al Volver encontraremos el paraíso completo..........

Third time I've stayed here & its wonderful every time

The howler monkeys sometimes come right among the cabins, especially early mornings. If you want to see the rainforest, this is the place to stay.

Great nature reserve, poor lodging/dining

The trails and forest at Selva Negra are outstanding. Trails are well built, with varying degrees of difficulty, in a pristine environment. I would recommend any nature lover visiting Selva Negra for a day trip. Do not take the tours, they are over-priced and not informative.

The hotel rooms are outdated and uncomfortable. The walls need to be repainted and the smell removed. The cabins may be better but I do not recommend staying in one of the hotel rooms. Also, the food is not good and VERY over priced. The wait staff seem to be unhappy and therefore service is poor.

Overall, the forest and coffee farm at Selva Negra are outstanding. Take a day to visit and go an a couple hikes. Don't waste your time lodging/eating here - there are many other better deals in the country.

Patty M.: This place was a welcome paradise. It is well worth a day and a half visit. We toured the plantation and hiked in the rain forest. The food in the restaurant was delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly. I wish I could find an equally satisfying cup of coffee here in the states. We stayed in a cabana the first night and it was top rate for certain. The second night we stayed in a regular hotel room --it was more sparsely decorated but it was clean and comfortable and for the difference in price-it was worth it. I hope to return someday.

Celeste: I went to Selva Negra just this past Thanksgiving. What a amazing Place! I recommend to anyone and plan to come back.

The place is just beautiful. I meet the owner and he was willing to chat with you for hours.

It is a very relaxing place. Can be chilly in the cloud forest so bring some warm clothes.

Only negative I found were that the sheets didnt seem clean. I had my own sleep sack so I didn't care. Also bring ear plugs the howler monkeys can keep you awake at night with their singing.
