Hostel Paradiso is located in Apoyo Lagoon. It is a full service hostel, bar & restaurant with a stunning layout and location – how often can you sleep in the jungle, wake up to the sound of monkeys, and swim in the crater of a volcano? Paradiso offer the option of spending the night here, with a price to suit every budget, or just a day relaxing at the Laguna. Check a nice video scrolling down here.

The well-stocked bar & restaurant serve refreshing cocktails and delicious homemade comfort food at a great price. You will find salads, pasta, cheeseburgers, great meat or vegetarian options and pizza (on the weekends). The bar is open until 11:00 pm.

Overnight guests would find quadruple or triple, double or single rooms with private or shared bathroom, as well as a spacious dorm with an amazing view of the sunrise over the lake. All the rooms are equipped with fan and free Wi-Fi.

To enjoy the lagoon, you can ask for kayaks (free) or a floating dock. Massage service, spanish classes, a ping pong table, windsurfing, petanque and a volleyball court are also available. Another extra service is a shuttle 2 times daily between Granada and the hostel.

You can plan birdwatching tours in the area of the lagoon or tours around Nicaragua. You can buy souvenirs of the lagoon and Nicaragua, in addition to organic products such as soaps and oils.

You could get involved as volunteer in projects for the community developed by the hostel.

For those arriving for a day, you will have a locker to save your things during your stay. The day stay fee is US$7 per person, which include the use of hostel facilities and kayak, coffee and tea.

• The shuttle is organized from Granada daily at 10am or 3pm. The fee is 3$ per person. Please let the hostel know if you need a pick up.
