Description

Monkey's Island is located 300 meters from the shores of the Cocibolca Lake in Ometepe Island. Its location near the Maderas Volcano allows to have an idea of the vegetation and animals that surround the area. A few meters from the lake's shore is founded the Congo Island, where many herd of monkeys live. In the same area is located a waterfall.

Rooms and dorms can accommodate between 1 to 3 people. Each have shared or private baths and hot water. The hotel staff is a welcoming bilingual family from the island, who are compromised to guarantee a comfortable and authentic stay in Ometepe.

To get there or continue your trip, buses pass by the road to Mérida. However, you have as an extra service, private transport in the island, kayak, bikes, motorcycles or horses rental and tours to the volcanoes. Prices starting at US$15. WiFi service is for free.
