Driving from Granada or Managua, you must go to the 37 1/2 kilometer mark on the Carretera Masaya. Follow the uphill road for about 15 minutes and then you will get to a junction. You should see what looks like a general entrance sign where you have to go down to the wáter or take right. Turn right where the Pacaya Lodge & Spa arrow points, Keep following the paved road for another 10min, you will pass through a school and continue on going straight, until you see the last Pacaya Lodge signaling for you to turn left. The main entrance is 100mts after this last turn.

Pacaya Lodge and Spa is committed to giving back to the vibrant communities of Laguna de Apoyo. We recognize that in addition to being the right thing to do, investing in our community makes good business sense. 

Pacaya Lodge and Spa is supporting the education of 240 students from surrounding communities by contributing a percentage of all lodge revenues to Emprendedora, a technical high school located 10km from the lodge. The school, which is operated by Opportunity International Nicaragua, offers students technical education in tourism or agriculture, Nicaragua's two leading industries. In addition to contributing revenues directly to the school, Pacaya Lodge engages school services such as laundry, sources produce from its working farm and offers professional development opportunities to outstanding students.
