Wonderful staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was delicious and it was great having hot water and air conditioner. I would definitely stay here again

Roger Olivier: Lovely hotel, I kept the business card and every time I see it inside my drawer I promise myself to go back and enjoy a nice vacation in Chinandega. I was there with my wife for two weeks or so and we fell in love with it. The staff was extremely helpful and professional at all times! Thumbs up Hotel San Jose and see you in September 2014! Viva Chinandega!

Leah Nielsen: This Hotel was wonderful! There was a large group of us, and we rented all the rooms. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel. The staff was great, and our stay in Chinandega was made even better due to their kindness and wonderful hotel accommodations. I hope to return :-)

Marann: I wanted to take the time to post since the other comments are from past years but the hotel is still doing such a fine job. Honestly, the most welcoming, accomodating and hospitable staff I've found at any hotel in my seven weeks so far in Nicaragua. The hotel is clean, well secured and comfortable, but beyond that, the staff is responsive and helpful. With AC and breakfast included, it is also one of the country's best bargains for this range of hotel.

Joel Crews: This Hotel is very clean and well run. I would compare it to a Best Western in the U.S. The breakfast food is good, and the management is very personable. If you are going to stay in Chinandega, I would recommend the San Jose Hotel. (Big plus, the management speaks English & Spanish)
