Reviews

Judy: This small hotel was very clean and attractively decorated, had comfortable beds, a nice bathroom and shower, and a pleasant interior courtyard and garden for relaxing and eating breakfast. The staff do not speak English, but were very helpful in answering questions and helping us make arrangments for transportation. The hotel was a good value at a reasonable cost. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

Peter: hola,
a very friendly and nice place (also for "backpackers" which have the money for it...) with a very friendly and helpful staff.
Clean rooms, hot water and very close to the center of Masaya with his markets (old and new).
It's a good choice however...!

monika: we were 6 people and enjoyed the cortyard full of flowers. also to walk through the barrio "monimbo" to down town was good experience watching the real life of the people in the street. no danger at all. the stuff was very helpful and organized a wholeday trip to laguna de apoyo. and its walking distance to old and new market and to the place where hammocks are made next to laguna de massaya. i would recommend it to anybody.

Chuck Herrod: This small centrally located hotel was the best value of any place I stayed during my recent trip. The hotel was clean and well maintained with a top notch english speaking staff. There is also a small tourist agency, laundry service, bar and resturant all of which are good. I would quickly recommend Hotel Monimbo to my friends and family.
