La Paz

Also known as "La Paz de Oriente", this small rural municipality has its urban center in the town of La Paz. The place gets hectic in February, which is when its religious festivities are held.

Getting There

You can reach La Paz after taking a paved road (2 kilometers) located between Jinotepe and Nandaime, in the Panamarican Highway.The town is located 56 kilometers away from Managua and has no direct connection with it. Despite the fact that Jinotepe is located 8 kilometers away from La Paz, the buses traveling between this two places are not that frequent. You can find buses that will take you to Nandaime and Granada in this town.
