Tuma La Dalia

Crossed by the Dariense and Isabelia mountain ranges, this municipality has a mountainous territory featuring small pine and cloud forests. A great attraction is the Tuma river and the coffee farms where visitors can observe the primary process that is used to make this product. The name of this municipality relates to its two main towns: El Tuma and La Dalia.

Getting There

There is a road that takes you to both El Tuma and La Dalia, which starts in the city of Matagalpa and is connected by frequent buses. When traveling from Managua, you can get to both towns by making a stopover in Matagalpa, or taking a bus to Waslala, which passes by these towns. Buses to Matagalpa or Waslala can be found at El Mayoreo market.
