La Estanzuela Waterfall and Marmolina Mines from Managua

Description

We will visit famous Salto de La Estanzuela (waterfall) and El Molino natural watering place. La Estanzuela is a beatiful waterfall 36 meters high (118 feet), sourronding by waterside vegetation. It's a great place to view this beatiful landscape, including bromeliads and orchids, national flower tree Sacuanjoche and local fauna. This is one of most visited place in this natual reserve, thanks to its accesability and nice swimming.

Half a mile before the waterfall is located Los Molinos watering place, a calcareous rock formation eroded by the river. There is a little wterfall (3 meters) and several little natural well and also a biggest one. Visitors can take a refreshing dip, enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty.
