    The meeting point is at Casa Albergue where the orientations will be given before starting the tour. First we will pass through the crops, see the farms and the football field to later go to the coffee plantation and receive the explanation about the cropping process.

    The tour continues along the trail until we reach a bar where you can buy some snacks. On the road, birds, zompopos and howler monkeys can be seen. We later take another path and return to the place we began our journey passing through local homes and cacao plantations.

    On the last part of the route, we will visit the artisanal hat and soaps workshops.

    This route will show you the lifestyle of the people that inhabits in La Granadilla.

    Once we departure from the Casa Albergue we will begin the tour through diverse crops like: beans, citrus fruits and corn. Later, we will visit different families and at the end we will go to one of the cooperative partners home to see the process of the beekeeping.

  • Old Deposit Tour (by foot)

    The orientations will be given before starting the tour. We'll start the tour passing through some crops, where we will observe the community lifestyle to later reach the old deposit, where its history will be told.

    We'll continue through a path that will take us to a beautiful viewpoint to see the Mombacho Volcano to later pass by a farm and appreciate the community's lifestyle. At the end we take a shortcut to the Casa Albergue.

  • Aguas Agrias Route

    Description

    The first orientations will be given to later grab a bike at Casa Albergue and start the 7 miles road to the Aguas Agrias community. You will pass by 3 neighborhoods: La Granadilla, Los Ranchones and Aguas Agrias. During the tour you will see the community lifestyle and wildlife: birds, iguanas, lizards and vultures as well as farm animals.

    Once we reach Aguas Agrias, you can choose to return to the Casa Albergue or stay for a while at the community. If the second option is your choice, you will have to pay an extra cost.
