    Enjoy the experience in the Somoto canyon, with the activities to undertake in this stunning natural setting. This is a tour from Leon city.

    The tour have two option according to your physical condition and adventure wish:

    Short route: We will start the tour with a short walk in the lower of the part to reach the river. There we will take a small boat to get to the canyon entrance. Once there, we will take rubber tires as lifesavers and go downriver with our tour guides. We will come to the medium part of the canyon, and there enjoy a time in the the crystal-clear water of the swimming holes. Departure time from Leon at 5 AM, arriving time to the Somoto Canyon at 9 AM. This tour option has a 3 hour length.

    Long route: We will start the tour with a 30 minutes (around) trekking until the upper waters of the river. We will swim with life-jacket across the narrow part of the canyon, going with the flow, a unique experience! You could jump from the taller rock to the water, and enjoy a time in the the crystal-clear water of the swimming holes. This tour option ave a 5-6 hour length, approximately.

    Both options include the same items and have the same price. It is a full day tour.

    Notes:

    • No minimum age for the short route option, but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
