    Description

    The tour begins at the central park to later visit the Cathedral of León. At the rooftop of the Cathedral, the colonial city of León and the volcanoes can be seen. The journey continues to the Mausoleum of Heroes and Martyrs, where you will learn about the participation of León at the Sandinista Revolution in 1979.

    The next stop is the Museum of Legends and Traditions, founded in a former prison built in 1921. Here you will know about the history of the prison as well as 14 Nicaraguan myths and legends.

    The tour goes on with the taste of a typical Nicaraguan drink. After that, you ill visit the Rubén Darío Museum, founded at the former house of the Nicaragua poet. The museum keeps many personal items of the artist.

    During the tour, many churches like San Francisco Church, can be admired. Also, other spots of interest can be observed, like the Calle Real.
